TERMSHEET PRO
Privacy Policy
Effective August 1, 2026
Who we are
TermSheet Pro ("the Service") is an educational tool operated by Chosenhomeland Solution LLC ("we," "us"). It helps startup founders understand venture capital term sheets through plain-English explanations and ownership math. This policy describes what information we collect when you use the Service on the web at termsheetpro.com or through our mobile apps, and what we do with it.
TermSheet Pro is an educational tool. It does not provide legal, financial, or investment advice, and nothing in the Service creates an attorney-client or advisory relationship.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email associated with your Google account. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase. We never see or store your password — Firebase manages credentials.
Content you provide. The core of the Service is analyzing term sheet content you paste or upload as a PDF, and answering questions you ask about it. This content is transmitted to our servers for analysis. If you are signed in, your analyzed term sheets are saved to your account; if you are not signed in, analyses are processed but not saved to an account.
Purchase information. If you buy a paid tier, the transaction is processed by the app store you bought it through (Google Play or Apple's App Store) together with our purchases partner, RevenueCat. We receive purchase status (what was bought and whether it is active) — never your card number or full payment details.
Technical information. Our servers keep standard operational logs (such as request timestamps and error diagnostics) needed to run and secure the Service.
What we do not collect: we do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and the Service contains no third-party advertising or ad tracking.
How AI processing works
Term sheet analysis and the question-answering assistant are powered by AI models running on Microsoft Azure (Azure OpenAI Service). Your content is sent to these models to generate your analysis and answers.
Your content is not used to train AI models. Under Microsoft's Azure OpenAI terms, data submitted for processing is not used to train, retrain, or improve the underlying models, and is not available to other customers or to OpenAI.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide the Service: analyzing your term sheets, answering your questions, saving your work to your account, generating document exports, and honoring your purchases across devices.
We may also use your email to send transactional messages (such as account or security notices) and occasional updates about TermSheet Pro or related tools we build. Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe option.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
Where your data lives and who processes it
Your data is stored and processed on infrastructure operated by Microsoft Azure (application servers, database, and AI processing) and Google Firebase (authentication), located in the United States. If paid tiers are active, RevenueCat processes purchase entitlements, and Google Play or Apple processes payment.
These providers act as processors on our behalf under their respective data protection terms. We share only what each needs to perform its function.
Retention
Saved term sheets and account data are retained while your account is active. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging, then deleted or anonymized.
Anonymous analyses (used without signing in) are not linked to an identity you can log back into.
Delete your account and data
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data — including saved term sheets, comparisons, and your user record — at any time by emailing ceo@chosenhomeland.com from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account." We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Deletion removes your data from our production systems; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on the backup rotation schedule. Purchase records held by Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat are governed by their own policies.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on our cloud providers. Access to production systems is limited and authenticated. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to deletion; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. If you are in a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws (such as the GDPR), you may exercise the equivalent rights.
To exercise any right, email ceo@chosenhomeland.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
